* A "Preferred Risk" driver can answer yes to the following questions:

  • No Accidents or  Moving Violations in the Last 3 Years.
  • Good to Excellent Credit. No problems receiving credit.
  • No past license suspensions, DUI's, etc. 
  • Continuous insurance coverage history. No lapsed or terminated policies
  • At least 25 years old.

** A "Standard Risk" driver can answer yes to the following questions:

  • Only 1-2 moving violations or 1 "at fault" claim in the last 3 years.
  • Average or better credit. Some minor credit problems.  
  • No past license suspensions, DUI's, etc. 
  • Continuous insurance coverage history. No lapsed or terminated policies
  • At least 21 years old.

*** A "High Risk" driver may have one or more of these characteristics:

  • 3 or more moving violations or 2 or more "at fault" claims in the last 3 years.
  • Poor credit, bankruptcies, large number of defaults.  
  • License suspensions, DUI's, SR22, etc. 
  • Lapses in insurance coverage due to non-payment or multiple claims.
  • 16-21 years old.
